It's an exciting time for fish advocates in the Northwest. Finally, a win/win plan! Rep. Simpson (R- Idaho) calls for retirement of the Lower 4 Snake River dams. This massive proposal is deep and complex, developed over years of meetings with a huge set of potential impacted stakeholders. It is unlike any dam retirement plan in the past in that it attempts to not leave any sector, industry or community behind. The more we show early support for this landmark salmon recovery package, the better chance it has of moving forward. 

The most powerful action you can take is to call Simpson's or Risch's office. Tell them your story (who you are) and that you support this plan for Idaho. Thank Simpson and let him know you support him. Ask Risch to politely consider this plan as it is different from other plans in the past and is important to you, your business and your community.
